User Persona
ChatGpt Says : A user persona is a fictional representation of the characteristics, needs, goals, and behaviors of a target user group or audience. It is a tool commonly used in user-centered design and marketing to create a deeper understanding of the people who will be using a product, service, or website.
You won’t be able to understand this Text written above if you are new to User Experience Design (UXD) field. Let me explain you in an easy way.
So, There are 5 different steps in Design process. i.e. Empathize, Define, Ideate, Design and Test. So most of the times User Persona falls into Define Phase of Design Process. There are more things in this phase but today we will only talk about User Personas.
Let me explain you by an Example :
Suppose you are designing a Mobile Application that is related to Online Food Delivery. Now here you need to focus on defining the Users Goals, Motivations, Pain Points/ Frustrations they face while ordering food online. The other things that you need to add are Bio ( Age, Education, Hometown, Family ).
Keep one thing in mind that the Personas that you are creating are basically related to a set of users.
All of the things that are there in Persona can be done after interviewing in the first phase of design process as Persona’s need information about a particular set of people.
